HOW IT STARTED
So around the age of 30, everything I knew about my cycle began to completely change.
Gone were the days of buying one pack of regular tampons and barely getting through the box. Gone were the light, 3-4 day cycles that I barely knew were coming because the onset was so light. Everything was completely different, and it seemed like it happened overnight.
Symptoms of my cycle began to appear 9-10 days before my cycle was scheduled to come. Bloating, cramps, lethargy, cystic acne underneath my skin among my jawline had my skin looking crazy; and I never experienced acne in my life. I felt like I was only normal 2 weeks out of the month, before either my cycle was bothering me or the PMS had me tired, cranky and miserable.
My cycles were unbelievably heavy and long, now at 7-9 days, and I paid for each and every one of those days. I began to use both tampons and pads, as my cycle was so heavy with all the clots, that I no longer even trusted an ultra tampon with a panty liner alone.
The straw that broke the camels back was then I got a yeast infection, and when I went to the doctor, he told me I had 5 uterine fibroids. I was in my early 30's, and I still wanted kids...This devastated me, and I began to hone into the natural herbal skills passed down to me from my mother and figure this out. I was not going to attribute this to "getting older"
HOW ITS GOING
Very quickly into my research, I learned that all of my symptoms, from the yeast to acne was all from one central problem: a hormonal imbalance. Hormonal imbalances manifest in many different ways, from PCOS, Estrogen Dominance, Endometriosis, etc. Mine happened to be estrogen dominance, which causes heavy, long cycles and uterine fibroids.
It took about 1 year to find, and hundreds of dollars trying everything from coconut oil and tea tree suppositories to red raspberry tea and even colloidal silver.
When I finally found colostrum (and the proper way to take it), and the blackstrap molasses elixir, I knew I hip jackpot because EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY SYMPTOMS DISSPEARED BY THE NEXT CYCLE, and there was NO more PMS. The acne did not appear, there was no PMS, and my cycle was 4 days!!!!
Although the journey began at ridding myself of fibroids so that I can concieve (I have:), it ended with me understanding my body and how it works (because diet change was major too), and gave me tools to help other women as well.
PMS is not normal...feeling like yourself EVERY day of the year, is.
Stay beautiful my friend. MYNTLYNX
